Description
Draper City’s Fire Department is seeking a qualified provider to develop and implement a comprehensive firefighter wellness and injury prevention program tailored to personnel performing fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, and other emergency response duties. Required services include mobility, flexibility, functional movement, core strength, and wellness assessments; firefighter-specific fitness and conditioning guidance; corrective exercise and individualized mobility or exercise plans; injury prevention, nutrition, hydration, recovery, stress management, sleep, and resilience education; and return-to-function recommendations when appropriate. Services must be delivered in person at each of the Department’s three fire stations, quarterly, by platoon, with sessions limited to 45 minutes and coordinated around emergency-response operations. The provider must supply qualified personnel, including a Doctor of Physical Therapy and currently licensed physical therapist, and must provide take-home recommendations, participation and outcome metrics, injury trend analysis when available, and an annual summary report. Proposals must include separate technical and cost proposals, references from at least three comparable public-safety or high-impact athletic organizations, assigned personnel resumes or curricula vitae, relevant certifications and licenses, and the required cover sheet, business license, W-9, and certificate of insurance.
