Description
The Alaska National Guard (AKARNG) requires a hybrid, commercial mailing and shipping solution to support five locations across Alaska. This solicitation seeks proposals for the lease, delivery, and full-service maintenance of one physical postage meter system in Anchorage, along with four independent web-based software subscriptions for outlying distributed locations. The physical postage meter in Anchorage must be capable of processing 130 letters per minute, have a 70 lb. scale capacity, print postage, and possess a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) for DoD networks. Web-accessible reporting with data on weight, cost per piece, total postage costs, and number of outgoing pieces is preferred. The contract will include routine maintenance, repair services, and provision of replacement supplies. The four outlying locations will utilize independent, cloud-based software subscriptions that require no local installation. These solutions must allow users to generate and print USPS postage and carrier shipping labels, sync all activities to a centralized reporting dashboard, and be securely accessible via standard DoD web browsers, complying with network security requirements such as CoN or FedRAMP authorization.
