Description
This opportunity is for the procurement of a fire alarm system, including installation and monitoring services. The system will be installed in the ALDOT District 1 facility, a 2085 sq ft building with 3 exits, 9 rooms (including 2 restrooms and a conference room), and a closet not within an office. The scope of work includes providing the necessary equipment, labor hours for installation, and a rate for monthly monitoring. Vendors are also required to provide cost estimates for quarterly or yearly monitoring. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the ALDOT facility, located at 240 Hwy 280, Alexander City, AL. Vendors must sign in at the meeting. The current valid period for this opportunity is from June 24, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Vendors must be located within 40 miles of the specified location.
