The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service/Alaska Fisheries Science Center requires upgrades to the waste seawater treatment system at the Auke Bay Laboratory in Juneau, Alaska. This project involves the installation of new ultraviolet disinfection units and a sand filtration system. The existing ozone treatment system is outdated and at the end of its service life. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, personnel, tools, materials, and supervision, except for the UV disinfection units, sand filter, and flow meters, which will be supplied by the government. All work must be completed in accordance with applicable state laws, regulations, codes, and the approved Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) plans. The period of performance for project completion is within three months of the date of award, with delivery required no later than September 30, 2026.
