Description
The Department of Financial Services, through its Division of Criminal Investigations and Division of State Fire Marshal, intends to contract with Securitas Technology Corporation for ongoing security monitoring and maintenance services. This agreement will cover all designated locations, with the exception of the Florida State Fire College. The services include periodic maintenance and software updates for the security systems that Securitas Technology Corporation has installed. The security systems at the Florida State Fire College, three DCIBureau of Insurance Fraud offices (Lake Wales, Fort Myers, and Tampa), and the SFM office in Tampa include camera surveillance, card readers, and detailed access logs. Additionally, Securitas will provide visual recordings of vehicle license plates entering the Florida State Fire College campus. These systems are proprietary to Securitas Technology Corporation, and only they are authorized and capable of performing the necessary software programming, updates, and maintenance. The estimated dollar amount for this contract is $56,292.00.
