Description
The Marion County Housing Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for installation of one programmable wall- or ceiling-mounted exhaust fan in a shared laundry room. The work includes assessing and preparing the electrical service; providing wiring, conduit, junction boxes, and switches; mounting and programming the fan for four automatic 45-minute cycles per day; testing the system; and installing code-compliant exterior ductwork, a vent hood with backdraft damper, weather sealing, and required clearances. The contractor must perform minor drywall repairs and finishing as needed, comply with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, OSHA requirements, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts requirements, and applicable permits or inspections, and minimize disruption in the occupied building. Quotes must include a current certificate of insurance showing general liability and workers' compensation coverage, copies of applicable licenses, and acknowledgment of Addendum No. 1. The project and pre-quote meeting location is 300 W Bond St, Patoka, Illinois. The awarded contractor must complete the work by October 29, 2026.
