Description
This Sources Sought/RFI concerns supplies and services for mitigating obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages affecting the AYK-22 Stores Management Processor. The anticipated effort includes designing and qualifying alternate parts to replace obsolete components in the processor, which interfaces the aircraft mission computer with weapons and external stores for F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft. Respondents are asked to provide a one-page capability statement describing their experience procuring and qualifying obsolete electronic components for military aerospace applications, access to required technical data and specifications, quality assurance processes and certifications, and other relevant capabilities. Responses may include commercial published price lists, lead times, and current stock levels. This is an informational market-research notice, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
