Description
The City of St. Louis Board of Public Service is soliciting bids for Traffic Management Enhancements, Phase 6, along Dr. Martin Luther King Drive from Hodiamont Avenue to Grand Boulevard. The project will upgrade seven existing signalized intersections with new signal equipment, traffic monitoring PTZ cameras, ADA-compliant curb ramps and sidewalks, enhanced pavement markings, accessible pedestrian signal systems, wireless vehicle detection, and related electrical infrastructure. The work also includes installing approximately 16,190 linear feet of 48SM/24MM fiber optic cable and conduit, integrating the corridor into the City's existing ITS network, installing managed network switches, and providing traffic operations center equipment consisting of a desktop computer and 4K display monitor. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, installation, testing, traffic control, permits, and coordination required for a complete project. The contract specifies 250 working days and requires compliance with federal-aid, Buy America, prevailing-wage, ADA, DBE, and self-performance requirements.
