Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting a Sources Sought notice to identify manufacturers capable of qualifying and producing an F-15 variable inlet ramp (diffuser), left-hand component, NSN 1560-01-621-1723FX, part number 68A327007-1001. The component is installed inside the aircraft air-intake system to control airflow and support engine performance on F-15E and F-15EX aircraft. The Boeing Company is identified as the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source with the required technical data and production capabilities. The agency intends to pursue a sole-source procurement under the only-one-responsible-source authority; this notice is for informational market research and is not a request for proposals.
