Description
Wentzville R-IV School District is soliciting bids for a complete athletic-surfacing project at Holt, Timberland, and Liberty high schools. The work includes removing and disposing of existing synthetic turf and infill; investigating, repairing, grading, and testing existing bases and drainage; installing new polyethylene synthetic turf systems with performance infill, permanent markings, graphics, anchorage, and related accessories; and protecting or reconstructing affected site features. At Holt High School, the contractor must design and construct a full-circuit two-lane expansion from six to eight track lanes, including civil work, drainage, aggregate and asphalt base, curbs, transitions, and full eight-lane resurfacing with a machine-laid polyurethane track system. The scope also requires independent testing, certified surveys, manufacturer-authorized installation, maintenance equipment, spare materials, training, product and workmanship warranties, insurance, bonds, qualifications, references, and detailed closeout documentation. Bidders must price each site package and the combined all-site option; the District may award one contract, individual site packages, or a combination.
