Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a contractor to repair, upgrade, overhaul, test, inspect, and return a cylinder assembly to Ready for Issue condition. The contractor must provide the necessary facility, labor, parts, materials, tooling, test equipment, inspection, and storage, unless specifically identified as government-furnished. Work must follow approved repair manuals, drawings, specifications, and technical publications, with a required repair turnaround time of 120 days after receipt of each asset. The contractor must maintain quality-control and configuration-management systems meeting specified military or equivalent ISO/SAE standards; prepare repair, test, inspection, and quality-assurance documentation; perform receiving and acceptance inspections; maintain historical records for each processed assembly; and support government review, repair-assessment testing, failure analysis, nonconformance control, and corrective action. Repairs must be performed at the contractor facility identified in the proposal, and changes to approved repair procedures, sources, or facilities require government approval.
