Description
Warren County is soliciting sealed bids for plumbing updates at the Warren County Courthouse jail. The work includes replacing existing Sloan 9630 flushometers, flushometer piping, 1/2-inch water lines with copper lines, copper sink drains, cast-iron piping, gate and quarter-turn valves, steel-braided water-supply lines, and installing a new toilet cleanout and cap. Bidders must assess the existing 4-inch cast-iron stack and provide an option cost for replacement if needed. A mandatory walkthrough is required to submit a bid. The contractor must perform work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., handle daily trash cleanup, and provide proof of workers' compensation and liability insurance with the bid. Materials may be paid for up front, with 10% retainage throughout the project.
