Schuchart Road Bridge Replacement

Description
Franklin County, Missouri is soliciting sealed bids for the Schuchart Road Bridge project over Birch Creek. The work includes removal of three large corrugated steel culvert pipes and the existing bridge, excavation, pile driving, bridge construction, embankments, asphalt paving, pavement striping, guardrail, traffic control, erosion control, and related incidental work described in the project manual. A bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount is required. Bidders must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation Qualified Contractor List and have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least seven days before bid opening. The contract is expected to begin between January and March 2027. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. A 0% DBE contract goal applies, and there is no on-the-job trainee goal.
