Description
St. Charles County Parks and Recreation is soliciting bids for agricultural leases at Broemmelsiek Park, Hackmann Park, and Lindenwood Park. The available acreage includes hay fields, row-crop fields, and areas designated for crop production and wildlife cover; Broemmelsiek Park also includes a corn-maze use coordinated with the Parks Department. The lease agreements require the farmer to provide labor, materials, seed, and farming operations, while restricting chemical use and subleasing without County approval. Each location requires a separate bid submittal form stating the annual lease amount and whether the bidder requests changes to the draft agreement. The agreements begin January 1, 2027, run through December 31, 2027, and automatically renew for two additional one-year extensions unless terminated or nonrenewed under the stated terms.
