Description
Parkway School District is soliciting a prime contractor to replace existing lamps with 4-foot, 3-foot, 2-foot, and 6-foot T8 LED lamps and install or replace dual-technology occupancy sensors and related lighting controls at five district facilities. The work includes hard-wired, three-wire low-voltage connections; wireless sensors are not permitted. Sensors are generally limited to spaces receiving LED upgrades and are excluded from hallways, corridors, and open spaces, with additional restrictions in areas containing or potentially containing asbestos or lead-based paint. The contractor must patch and paint affected surfaces, provide product and installation information needed to obtain Ameren Missouri BizSavers incentives, and provide invoices for purchased lamps and sensors. The solicitation requires a complete bid from a prime contractor and includes a 5% bid bond, an executed AIA A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement with a quarterly or annual financial statement no more than 12 months old, and payment and performance bonds at the full contract sum after award. The anticipated substantial-completion date is June 25, 2027 in the invitation, while the project manual's work-sequence section states substantial completion on or before August 1, 2027; this discrepancy should be clarified. The agreement is initially for one year, with a possible one-month extension, and the vendor signature page permits proposals for additional years subject to District approval.
