Description
St. Louis County is soliciting a contractor for roadway improvements along Hanley Road and Laclede Station Road from Manchester Road to Newport Avenue. The work includes removing and replacing deteriorated or damaged pavement and curbs, pavement surfacing and texturing, asphaltic concrete overlays, concrete pavement repairs, longitudinal joint sealing, guardrail and driveway approach work, and traffic control. The project also includes removing and replacing sidewalks, curb ramps, and median or island pavement; installing truncated domes and accessible pedestrian signals; modifying traffic signal equipment, controllers, detectors, conduit, cabling, pull boxes, bases, and video detection systems; completing railroad-related work, erosion and sediment controls, land-disturbance permitting, and other incidental construction. The contractor must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation's approved contractor listing at least seven days before bid opening, perform at least 40% of the total contract cost with its own organization, and comply with prevailing-wage, federal-aid, Buy America, ADA, and other stated requirements.
