Description
Monroe County, on behalf of its Division of Social Services, seeks an organization to provide qualified individuals who are licensed clinicians and have relevant child-welfare experience to assess youth being considered for placement in Qualified Residential Treatment Programs and other approved residential settings. Assessments must use the New York State Office of Children and Family Services-approved Child and Adolescent Needs Assessment tool, evaluate the child's strengths and needs and appropriate level of care, and develop child-specific short- and long-term mental and behavioral health goals. The contractor must coordinate with the child's family and permanency team, interview relevant parties, conduct a family and permanency team meeting, document the assessment process, submit the assessment and supporting documentation within the specified deadlines, and provide court testimony when necessary. Qualified individuals and supervisors must be trained and certified to use the assessment tool. The anticipated workload is approximately 35–40 assessments per year, with each assessment requiring approximately 12 hours. The agreement is for one year with four additional one-year renewal options.
