Description
Greece Central School District is soliciting a contractor to provide recycling and trash removal services at district locations. The scope includes disposal of municipal solid waste; single-stream recycling; corrugated cardboard recycling; and mixed-paper recycling. The contractor must provide, maintain, clean, repair, or replace containers as needed, service the containers on the specified schedules, transport waste and recyclable materials to appropriate processing or recycling facilities, and comply with applicable state and local regulations. The bid is organized into four lots covering municipal solid waste, single-stream recycling, corrugated cardboard, and mixed paper, with pricing for container rental, hauling, pickup, disposal or processing, and revenue-sharing components where applicable. The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing similar services to large municipalities or commercial customers, maintain required permits and licenses, provide qualified vehicle operators, and meet the stated insurance, prevailing-wage, and service requirements. The initial contract period runs from October 21, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewal periods by mutual consent.
