Description
Greece Central School District is soliciting bids for the supply and installation of a secured outdoor walk-in freezer box at Holmes Road Elementary. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, including receipt of the new box; installation of the freezer, refrigerant lines if needed, drain lines and heat trace, shear plates, wall anchors, and an outdoor membrane roof; final mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration connections; startup, testing, system adjustments, and removal of packaging materials. The concrete pad and electrical service will be completed by others before the project begins. Installation is scheduled to begin in November 2026 and must be completed within 10 days of project start during regular business hours. Bidders must submit a detailed itemized equipment and installation quote. Prevailing wage requirements apply, and the contractor must provide required insurance and licensing. A mandatory site visit is also required. The bid package requires district forms and certifications, a W-9, pricing information, and any other specified documents.
