The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office, is soliciting quotes for a complete kitchen remodel. The work includes demolition and disposal of existing cabinets, countertops, sink, backsplash, flooring, underlayment, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, and ceiling supply diffusers; repair or replacement of walls and drywall; installation of new cabinets, custom quartz countertops, backsplash, stainless-steel double-bowl sink, faucet, garbage disposal, moldings, sheet-vinyl flooring, rubber base, LED or recessed lighting, tamper-resistant GFCI receptacles, arc-fault circuit protection, and replacement doors; painting; plumbing reconnection; and reinstallation of existing appliances. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, disposal, cleanup, material submittals, and coordination required for the project. This is an Article 8 New York public works project requiring prevailing wages and valid New York State Department of Labor contractor registration before bid submission. The contractor must attend the mandatory site visit, submit the official quote submission form, provide its NYSDOL registration number and Certificate of Registration, and maintain required insurance. The work must be completed within 120 days of receiving the purchase order, and prior work performance will be considered in the award decision. Subcontractors require written approval from the Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office.
