Whatcom County RFP #26-54 Funding for Small Capital Projects – Affordable Housing Whatcom County seeks proposals for income-restricted affordable housing rehabilitation, construction, or acquisition projects supporting individuals, families, or unrelated persons living together whose income is at or below 60% of Area Median Income (AMI), as further described in the solicitation documents. The deadline for responses is 2:30 PM, Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Description
Whatcom County is requesting proposals for funding under its Small Capital Projects program for income-restricted affordable housing rehabilitation, construction, or acquisition projects. Eligible projects must support individuals, families, or unrelated persons living together whose income is at or below 60% of Area Median Income (AMI). The opportunity encourages disadvantaged, minority, by-and-for, and women-owned firms to respond. Proposals must be submitted as sealed proposals by 2:30 p.m. on October 6, 2026, and will be publicly opened, with attendance available live or virtually via Zoom. The solicitation documents are available at no charge in PDF format; prospective proposers must complete the plan-holders form to access the related documents and receive addenda or other distributed information.
