Description
The Town of West New York seeks proposals from firms certified by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs under N.J.A.C. 5:23-5.19G to provide parking garage special inspections and testing for the Town's construction projects during 2027. The firm and assigned personnel must hold the required certifications and provide written documentation demonstrating their competence and relevant experience. The scope includes soil and foundation inspections; cast-in-place deep foundation inspections; concrete sampling and testing; reinforcement, welding, anchors, masonry, precast concrete, formwork, and related periodic or continuous inspections. The testing agency must maintain inspection records, promptly report discrepancies, interpret test results, and submit reports signed and sealed by a New Jersey-licensed professional engineer. A final report documenting completion of required inspections and correction of discrepancies is required before issuance of a certificate of use and occupancy. Proposals must include firm and staff qualifications, relevant experience, at least four references (including three involving representation of a public entity), staffing and timely-performance information, cost details, ownership and compliance certifications, and business-registration documentation.
