Description
The City of Florissant is soliciting bids for the installation of a new golf course irrigation system at Florissant Golf Club. The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to install a complete Rain Bird Integrated Control (IC) irrigation system. This includes installing new HDPE mainline and lateral piping, Rain Bird IC sprinkler heads for greens, tees, and fairways, and the Rain Bird CirrusPro Central Control System. The scope of work also encompasses trenching, vibratory plowing, boring, restoration of disturbed areas, and maintaining the operation of the existing irrigation system during construction. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating construction to minimize disruption to golf course operations, keeping all but one hole open during construction. The project is scheduled to begin on January 2, 2027, with substantial completion required by April 30, 2027. All work must comply with prevailing wage requirements, OSHA regulations, and applicable local, state, and manufacturer installation standards. The contractor is responsible for protecting existing utilities and restoring all disturbed areas to the satisfaction of the Owner. Materials must be new and installed according to specifications, with no substitutions permitted without written approval.
