Description
This project at the South Reno Department of Motor Vehicles Facility (9155 Double Diamond Pkwy, Reno, NV 89521) involves the removal and replacement of the existing air-cooled chiller with two new screw-type chillers. The scope includes modifications to both underground and above-ground chilled water piping to accommodate the new equipment and updates to the existing chiller enclosure. Additionally, three new primary chilled water pumps will be installed, and three new mini-split systems, including associated outdoor condensing units, will be installed in the main DMV building. The contract duration is 91 calendar days, with liquidated damages set at $950.00 per calendar day. Prevailing wages must be paid on this project. Bidders are required to submit bids electronically via QuestCDN.com, with a fee of $20.00 for submission. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the project site. Plans and specifications can be downloaded for $22.00.
