Description
The City of Garland is soliciting proposals for improvements to the Blower Building at the Rowlett Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (RCWWTP), located at 2500 E. Centerville Rd., Garland, TX 75040. The project involves the demolition of existing air piping and blowers, and the installation of a new dual-core blower, aeration piping, valves, electrical, and instrumentation/control facilities. This is an evaluated bid, with the award basis being "Best Value" to the City. Evaluation criteria include Price (50%), General Contractor Experience (20%), Adherence to Specifications (10%), Time of Completion (10%), Litigation History (5%), and Project Close-out and Warranty History (5%). A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required with the bid response. A Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond will be required upon award. The estimated budget for this project is $1,105,000.00.
