Description
The Research Foundation of SUNY (RF) is soliciting proposals for pre-construction activities to prepare for the installation of a dry room at the Battery-NY facility. This facility is designed for the design and manufacture of batteries at a scale of up to 30 MWh, supporting technologies from TRL 4-6. The scope of work includes general conditions, ductwork removal and installation, utility piping (chilled water, RO water, DI water, compressed air, natural gas), snow melt system removal, dock leveler removal and concrete infill, slab infills, conduit and device removal/relocation, lighting upgrades, entry door installation, and door access/security system work. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, materials, project management, and compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations. The project is governed by the laws of the State of New York.
