Description
Pellston Public Schools is requesting proposals from qualified Mechanical/Structural Engineers and HVAC contractors to design, provide, and install a new air conditioning system for the High School Gymnasium. The project includes adding rooftop units, reinforcing the existing structure to support the new units, and providing a complete, working system with curbs, ductwork, startup, and controls. The contractor will also be responsible for providing power to the new units, installing all supply and return air ductwork, and new thermostat and control wiring, coordinating control operation with the existing heating system. Training for district staff on system operation, roof repair and flashing for installation, and a 2-year installation warranty are also required. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary permits and inspections, as well as any damage caused during construction.
