Description
Université du Québec à Montréal is soliciting bids for the fourth phase of a multi-year renovation program at the Hubert-Aquin Pavilion. The work covers portions of the building’s Saint-Denis Street façade and interior courtyard elevations, including brick veneer replacement, structural lintel reinforcement, aluminum fenestration replacement and supports, insulation and waterproofing, solar shade installation, soffit repairs, interior finish repairs, painting, caulking, ceiling demolition and reconstruction, and related electrical and mechanical work. The contractor will also be responsible for demolition, temporary protection, site setup and cleanup, access control, occupant protection, coordination of noisy work and service interruptions, temporary lighting and air-intake filters, restoration of affected interior and exterior areas, and final cleaning. Building occupants and adjacent facilities will remain in use throughout the work, requiring the contractor to maintain safe, sanitary, and continuous access. A bid bond equal to 10% of the bid value is required and must remain valid for 45 days from bid opening. The estimated contract period is 12 months. Submissions may be made electronically through SEAO or in paper form by courier or hand delivery; fax and email submissions are not accepted.
