Description
This lump-sum construction opportunity covers all site masonry work for the Vista Continuation High School new campus, including masonry enclosures, baseball and softball dugouts, utility-yard walls, delivery-yard walls, and other site walls. The scope includes furnishing and installing concrete masonry units, masonry caps, mortar, grout, sills, pointing, reinforcing steel, anchors, control-joint materials, sealants, miscellaneous embedded steel and accessories, cleaning agents, scaffolding, hoisting equipment, bracing, layout, and related labor and materials. The contractor must provide a scaffolding and hoisting plan, project-specific stamped grout mix designs prepared by a California-registered civil engineer, field verification and layout, protection of the work, Procore submittals and schedule updates, and as-built documentation. The work is a prevailing-wage public-works contract with a required California C-29 masonry license, prequalification requirements, a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment and performance bonds, and required insurance coverage. The estimated bid value is $358,388.40, and the anticipated project duration is 490 calendar days.
