Description
The North Jersey District Water Supply Commission is soliciting sealed bids from contractors experienced in general construction, masonry, waterproofing, and historic masonry construction. The successful bidder must procure materials and perform leak repairs, masonry repointing, and waterproofing for the Cascade Fountain, as well as restore the adjacent retaining wall where it is settling. Bidders must comply with applicable New Jersey public contracting, affirmative action, prevailing wage, and contractor business registration requirements. Each bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the contract price, not exceeding $20,000, and written consent from a qualified surety capable of providing security equal to 100% of the contract price.
