Description
Saginaw Township Community Schools is soliciting bids for a two-year Elevator Maintenance Contract for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years. The contract, beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2028, includes quarterly examinations of elevators, cleaning and oiling of machinery, signal devices, and controllers, as well as minor adjustments and the provision of necessary lubricants, greases, rope preservatives, and wiping cloths. The services are to be performed at four school locations: Arrowwood Elementary, Sherwood Elementary, White Pine Middle, and Heritage High. The bid requires pricing for each school year separately, along with hourly rates for repairs and material charges. Additionally, bidders must provide a cost for a 3-year, 2-hour rated load relief valve test at Sherwood Elementary in November, as per Michigan Department of Labor Section R408.8639.
