Description
The St. Clair County Road Commission is soliciting sealed proposals for the Richmond Rest Area Lagoon Removal project in St. Clair County, Michigan. The scope of work includes approximately 1 acre of clearing, 4,030 cubic yards of excavation, handling and disposal of 1,280 cubic yards of non-hazardous material, 8,050 cubic yards of embankment, and 11,700 square yards of restoration, along with other miscellaneous items. Proposals must be submitted by 11:30 AM EDT on Thursday, June 25, 2026, via the Bid Express Website or at the office of the Board of Road Commissioners. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, guaranteeing the successful bidder will enter into a contract. The work will be performed in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans, and Supplemental Specifications.
