Description
The Lapeer County Intermediate School District is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the replacement of roofs on two existing barn structures. Interested parties must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 15, 2026, at 8:00 A.M. (EST) at the Education and Technology Center, 690 North Lake Pleasant Road, Attica, MI 48412. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked "Bid-Barn Roof Replacement", include the bidder's name, and be signed by an authorized official. Bids are due by 2:00 P.M. (EST) on June 30, 2026, at the Lapeer County ISD Administration Building, 1175 South Lapeer Road, Lapeer, MI 48446, and will be publicly opened at the same location. Oral bids, or bids submitted via telephone, email, telegraph, or facsimile will not be accepted. The successful bidder must provide Certificates of Acord confirming Worker's Compensation (minimum $100,000), Liability (minimum $300,000), and coverage for vehicles, property damage, public liabilities, and personal injury. Additionally, the bidder must provide 3 references upon request. Bids exceeding $50,000 require a certified check or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the base bid. Work must be completed no later than November 1, 2026, and bids must be guaranteed for 60 days from the bid opening date. The Lapeer County ISD is a tax-exempt organization.
