Description
Dryden Community Schools is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified bidders for the construction trade work related to the 2026 High School Media Center Carpet Replacement project. Bids will be accepted via mail or in person at the Dryden Community Schools Administration Building, 3866 Rochester Road, Dryden, MI 48428, until 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Proposals received after this deadline will not be considered. Facsimile, electronic mail, or telephone proposals are not accepted. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Dryden High School, 3866 Rochester Road, Dryden, MI 48428. Bidding documents will be available starting Wednesday, June 10, 2025, after 9:00 AM through Builders Exchange Of Michigan, Construction Association Of Michigan (https://cam.virtualplanroom.net/), R & E Development Group (https://www.redevgrp.com - Password: redevgrp), and a Dropbox link. All questions concerning bidding procedures, design, or specification intent should be directed in writing to Robert Proper at R & E Development Group, LLC via email to rproper@redevgrp.com. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. A Bid Security of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid is required with all proposals. Additionally, proposals must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder's owners/employees and the Board of Education or Superintendent, and a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
