Description
Saginaw Public Schools is requesting formal, competitive bids for the procurement of one (1) used or new Commercial-Grade Compact Utility Tractor equipped with a front-end loader. The benchmark target machine is a 2019 John Deere 4066R with a deluxe cab, Mechanical Self-Leveling (MSL) loader, and two Rear Selective Control Valves (SCVs), with approximately 600 hours. Equivalent or superior models from other major manufacturers that meet or exceed the technical specifications will also be accepted. The required equipment must meet or exceed the following minimum technical specifications: a minimum 65 horsepower (HP), Tier 4 compliant diesel engine; an Electronic Hydrostatic Transmission (3-range preferred) with automatic or electronic speed/cruise adjustments; a factory-installed Deluxe Cab with climate control, a premium adjustable suspension/air-ride seat, and a factory radio/audio setup; a minimum of two functional Rear Selective Control Valves (SCVs); a front-end loader with Mechanical Self-Leveling (MSL) functionality (quick-attach bucket preferred); and heavy-duty R4 Industrial Tires (Front approx. 10-16.5; Rear approx. 16.9-24) suitable for commercial/hard-surface use. If a used tractor is proposed, it must be a 2019 model or newer with a maximum of 650 certified operating hours and include a complete maintenance and multi-point inspection report. Proposals must include detailed equipment information (year, make, model, hours, VIN), itemized pricing (including all fees and freight charges), a condition report, warranty information, and availability/delivery date. Bids will be evaluated based on financial value, specification match, equipment condition, and lead time. Vendors must submit sealed bids via mail or in person by July 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST, with the subject line "BIDSUBMISSION:UtilityTractor" and attention to Tim Furtaw II.
