Palm Beach County is soliciting firm, fixed unit pricing for an estimated 480 junk vehicles over an initial 12-month term contract, with four additional 12-month renewal options. Vehicles will be used for extrication training and must have intact windshields and rear windows, with all doors, roof, trunk, and hood in place; body panels do not need to be original. The successful quoter must remove the fuel tank and battery, drain all fluids, deliver vehicles two days before scheduled training, and remove them the same day upon request or within 48 hours after training. Delivery and removal must include all transportation, towing, surcharges, and related costs. The anticipated contract value for the initial term is $90,000, and orders will be placed as needed. Quotes must include the completed Quote Response Form and required certifications and documentation, including references and applicable Small Business Development schedules when subcontractors are used.
