Description
The United States Air Force is seeking capability information for a potential blanket purchase agreement covering mission-essential snow clearing, snow relocation, and snow hauling during winter weather events. Clearing is limited to designated paved parking areas and road access arteries totaling approximately 1,014,497 square feet, including the B1000 Complex and Capehart parking lots. Snow hauling applies base-wide, with the contractor responsible for providing five tandem-axle dump trucks with a minimum 10-cubic-yard struck capacity, five CDL-licensed operators, supervision, transportation, equipment, and labor. Government personnel will load the trucks and perform chemical de-icing. The prospective work requires rapid mobilization, continuous or recurring clearing during storms, bare-pavement performance standards, phased completion deadlines, 24/7 operational availability, certified equipment operators, installation access vetting, safety and environmental compliance, and firm-fixed-price event and hauling-call pricing. This notice is a Sources Sought announcement rather than a request for proposals or quotes; respondents must submit a capabilities package containing company information, CAGE code, UEI, socioeconomic status, and relevant experience. The potential BPA would have standby coverage from November 1 through April 30, with work performed through authorized BPA calls.
