Description

The City of Springfield is soliciting bids for demolition of an existing cemetery building, slab, foundations, fencing, pavement, utilities, infrastructure, and an outbuilding, followed by construction of a new 2,572-square-foot cemetery office and grounds building. The base project includes a family room, offices, support spaces, and a conditioned bay, with wood stud framing, wood trusses, and CMU walls. The work also includes new water, sanitary sewer, and underground electrical infrastructure; a utility meter and fire hydrant; landscaping, signage, fencing, bollards, a flagpole, and wheel stops. Six additive alternates cover west-property-line fencing, a lightweight concrete ceiling, metal entry canopies, manual window roller shades, enclosed and open storage bays increasing the building area to 4,272 square feet, and sealed concrete in lieu of polished concrete.
