Description
Crafton Borough is soliciting bids for the Perrine Storm Sewer Separation project on Perrine Street. The work includes installing new storm sewer pipe, inlets, manholes, and an outlet structure; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; resident notification; erosion and sedimentation controls; protection of existing utilities; street reconstruction; replacement of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalks, and handicap ramps; bituminous milling and overlay; driveway restoration; utility coordination; GPR surveying; CCTV inspection; and complete site restoration. The project includes approximately 475 linear feet of 15-inch storm pipe, 95 linear feet of 18-inch pipe, 160 linear feet of 24-inch pipe, storm sewer structures, roadway restoration, and related unit-price work. Bidders must be PennDOT-prequalified under the bidding entity's name for the majority of the specified work classifications, and subcontractors must also be PennDOT-prequalified for listed categories. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. The bid must include a certified check or bidder's bond equal to 10 percent of the total proposal amount. The successful bidder must provide performance, maintenance, and labor and material payment bonds, insurance certificates, and workers' compensation certificates upon contract execution. The work must reach substantial completion within 145 calendar days and final completion within 175 calendar days after the Contract Times commence.
