Description
The City of Bellevue’s Boost Bellevue Grant provides funding for current and prospective small businesses and commercial property owners undertaking eligible interior or exterior improvement projects. Eligible work includes facade painting, cleaning, masonry repair, awnings and fencing; ADA-compliant entrances, ramps, sidewalks, and walkways; permanent signage and exterior lighting; structural, foundation, wall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-suppression repairs; energy-efficiency upgrades; and permanent public-facing interior flooring, lighting, fixture, and restroom improvements. Projects outside these categories may be considered case by case. The program has $5,000 in total funding available, with individual awards capped at $2,500. Recipients must provide a 50% match and complete the work after written approval. Reimbursement is issued after project completion, final City inspection, and submission of itemized invoices, receipts, proof of payment, and applicable before-and-after photographs. Applicants must submit the official grant application with the required project description, cost estimates, ownership or authorization documentation, permits or approvals where applicable, and other supporting materials. Payroll, inventory, marketing, movable furniture or equipment, standalone professional fees, projects started before approval, expansions, and debts owed to the City are ineligible.
