Description
The City of Albuquerque is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide maintenance, regulatory testing, repair, and installation services for underground storage tanks (USTs), aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), and related equipment at various City facilities. The scope includes system repairs, preventative maintenance, regulatory compliance testing, emergency and normal service calls, installation of new equipment, and the supply of related parts, materials, labor, tools, and equipment. Services must comply with applicable City, state, and federal requirements, including New Mexico Petroleum Storage Tank Bureau regulations. The City intends to establish a service agreement for four years from award, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods, for a maximum six-year term. Contractors may provide AST/UST services, testing services, or both. Required response information includes pricing for service calls and discounts on parts and equipment, while optional documentation includes applicable certifications and testing capabilities. Performance, labor and material bonds are required for projects exceeding $25,000, and AST/UST service providers must carry $2,000,000 in pollution liability coverage.
