Description
Bernalillo County is seeking an environmental consulting and/or planning firm to support its Brownfields Assessment Program. The scope includes inventorying potential Brownfield sites; completing up to 34 Phase I environmental site assessments, 21 Phase II assessments, and 14 regulated building material surveys; preparing a quality assurance project plan; developing sampling, analysis, health and safety, remedial, reuse, and area-wide plans; conducting community outreach; and supporting quarterly, annual, ACRES, and close-out reporting. The resulting agreement will have an initial term of up to four years and may be extended by written amendment to accommodate current or future EPA Brownfields grants. The anticipated maximum contract is $1,466,700, with task allocations for project management, community engagement, inventory and assessments, and cleanup and reuse planning. Proposals must demonstrate specified personnel qualifications, including a full-time licensed New Mexico professional engineer and a full-time qualified environmental professional, as well as relevant Brownfields grant experience and at least 10 years of environmental professional experience.
