Description
The City of Albuquerque is soliciting bids for Phase 1 construction of a road diet on 12th Street from Sawmill to the I-40 Frontage Road. The work includes one driving lane in each direction, a two-way center turn lane, raised concrete median islands, buffered bike lanes, sidewalks, storm drainage improvements, and permanent signing and striping. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN's VirtuBid service. Bidders must register and become plan holders to submit a proposal. A pre-bid conference will be held by video conference, and attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. The contract, if awarded, will be subject to the City's Gender Pay Equity Ordinance, Accountability in Government Ordinance, and Inspector General Ordinance.
