Description
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Northeast District requires the services of a qualified contractor to install a four-inch water meter system at the New Florence Maintenance Facility. This includes connecting a four-inch water line to an existing six-inch water main, installing a new water meter, service vault, curb stop valve, and a two-inch meter bypass. The specified water meter is a 4" NEPTUNE MACH 10 Ultrasonic with an integrated R9001 radio read register. All piping and components within the service vault must be ductile or stainless steel, and the vault must be designed to prevent water accumulation. The project also requires the installation of tracer wire, a capped four-inch stub for future connections, and backfilling and seeding of disturbed areas. The contractor will be responsible for all work, materials, disposal of waste, and guaranteeing all work and materials for one year. Work must be completed no later than September 11, 2026. The contractor must also comply with E-Verify requirements for employment eligibility.
