Description
The City of Rock Hill, Missouri is soliciting bids for the W. Thornton Resurfacing Project. This project involves comprehensive street improvements along W. Thornton Avenue, including pavement preparation, milling, asphalt overlay, installation of concrete curb and gutter, pavement striping, and necessary traffic control measures. Bidders are instructed to obtain bid documents electronically by emailing Becky Toney at btoney@cochraneng.com. To be added to the Plan Holders List and receive communications and addenda, provide company name, contact person and phone number, full company address, and email address. Project and bidding questions must be submitted via email to mspalding@cochraneng.com by 4:00 p.m. on July 8, 2026. A bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required. The solicitation also mandates compliance with Missouri law regarding the employment of unauthorized aliens and requires the successful bidder to provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of starting work.
