Description
Henrico County is seeking a qualified supplier for an annual contract to furnish new firefighter uniforms and accessories, including short- and long-sleeve shirts, Nomex uniform and rescue pants, dress uniforms, piping, Maltese crosses, badge shirts, and bell-crown caps. Products must meet the stated technical specifications or be approved equals, and bidders must bid on all required items. The contract includes inside delivery, sewing County-provided patches onto shirts, professional measuring, tailoring, hemming, fitting, and alterations. The successful bidder must maintain a physical store in the City of Richmond, Henrico County, Chesterfield County, or Hanover County, provide sizing samples and measurement training for Nomex pants, and perform dress-uniform measuring and alterations at its store. The contract period is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals. Estimated historical spending was approximately $72,400 in fiscal year 2024–2025 and $85,200 in fiscal year 2025–2026; these figures do not guarantee future purchases. Required bid materials include the completed bid forms and price schedules, business and registration information, references, responsible-bidder certification, and applicable business-license documentation.
