Description
Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) is requesting a contractor to manage the process for school bus stop change requests and transportation routing. The contractor will be responsible for reviewing and processing requests from parents and guardians for new bus stops, changes to existing stops, and address changes. The contractor must evaluate each request against established criteria, including visibility from the student's home, road types (cul-de-sac, private roads), distance between stops, weather conditions, backpack weight, proximity to the student's home, and consistency of stops. The contractor will coordinate with the HCPS Transportation Department to ensure efficient and safe transportation for all students. The contractor must also handle requests for students with severe emergencies and ensure that all requests are processed within 5-10 business days.
