Description
The City of Yachats is soliciting construction bids for the Ocean View Drive Boardwalk and Utility Undergrounding Improvement Project. Schedule 1 includes approximately 1,982 square feet of synthetic-lumber boardwalk, 23 concrete/post footings, approximately 180 linear feet of concrete spread footings, 366 linear feet of Type C curb with integral ledger, 650 square feet of four-inch concrete sidewalk, approximately 110 linear feet of 12-inch storm drain, three storm-drain structures, and approximately 400 linear feet of handrail with downcast lighting. Schedule 2 includes converting an existing overhead utility service to buried service, installing a street-light base, meter can, load center, transformer base, pull box, approximately 52 linear feet of two-inch electrical conduit by directional drilling below Beach Street, approximately 101 linear feet below Highway 101, approximately 250 linear feet of two-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit by open trench, all conductors, and coordination with the utility district and property owner. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bid consideration, and bidders must follow the detailed submittal, qualification, and award requirements in the bidding documents.
