Description
The Meadow Lake Airport Association seeks Statements of Qualifications and Experience from consulting firms to provide airfield planning services for a five-year period. The scope includes general planning reviews and updates, including five-year plans and capital improvement program updates; Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan updates; airport property development planning; turf runway and operating-area planning; access planning; environmental assessments; and surveying and mapping. Additional work may include DBE program coordination, owner representation to outside agencies and El Paso County, planning for land acquisition for the Runway 15/33 Runway Protection Zone, and airport input to a county road intersection reconstruction. Projects may involve planning, design, bidding, contract administration, and construction observation. Statements of Qualifications are limited to 30 pages and must address the firm's qualifications, comparable experience and references, proposed personnel, organizational structure, and ability to meet schedules. Selection is based on qualifications, with fees negotiated for initial and subsequent grant-funded tasks.
