Description
Ocean County seeks a qualified firm or individual to serve as County Architect for calendar year 2027. The scope includes architectural programming and design, cost estimating, construction-document preparation, bidding and bid evaluation, construction administration, final inspection, and project acceptance. The selected architect may also be asked to provide specialty services or coordinate specialty consultants, subject to County approval and the County’s right of first refusal. Architectural services may not be subcontracted to another architectural firm. Qualifications must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience for a New Jersey county or other New Jersey public entity. Responses must include assigned personnel qualifications and experience, support staff, professional licenses and certifications, fee schedules, insurance documentation, four professional references, and the required vendor-questionnaire documents. The appointment is nonexclusive and does not guarantee any minimum work or assignments; work may be authorized on a project-specific basis.
